Community STEM Event

 

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to take an inquiry-based class at Valley Middle School of STEM and participate in creating a project with one of our community business partners? Well here is your chance.

We have over a dozen partners representing a wide variety of businesses joining in with our teachers to provide an array of fun innovative classes. Come and explore everything from manufacturing, engineering, product development, graphic design, mental health, food, fitness and so much more. There is something for everyone!

At our STEM Community Night on January 19th, you and your child have the opportunity to take one or two classes together. Classes will take place at 5:30, 6:15pm, 7:15pm and 7:50pm. Use the link below to see a brochure with each of the class offerings and select which ones you would like to sign up for by January 19th.

You can then register each person that will be participating once on that site.
**Keep in mind that you will need to use a different email address for each participant.**

Do you need an interpreter? Although you will be coming with your VMSS student, you may wish to have an interpreter. If so, please register by January 9th so that we can do our best to have those services available to you. 

Are you in need of daycare? We will be hosting daycare services for children aged 5 - 11. There will be games, crafts and videos for the children to explore. But space is limited so register early.

Lastly, concessions will be available for a light snack and beverage before each class session.
