Drama Club

We do two drama productions a year, usually a comedy or drama in the fall and a musical in the spring. We have done many exciting plays and musicals in the past such as “Charlottes Web”, “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “The Little Mermaid”, “Seussical”, and “Wizard of Oz”. We do three performances for the public, plus previews for students during the day. After the last performance we have a pizza party for the cast and crew. Putting together a play or musical at VMSS takes a lot of work, but it is also lots of fun. It is a great opportunity to meet new friends.

It is possible to be involved in both sports and drama. All students are welcome to be a part of the drama club. We would like to encourage boys to try out. A lot of famous actors got their start in middle school and high school theatre!
